Custom Projects
I've had the very good fortune to be able to work on some pretty cool custom builds for some pretty amazing people. Please feel free to peruse the below gallery and check out the kind of fun I love getting into.

Free Will Brewing Co. Bar
at Broad St. Theater
-Souderton, PA
I was brought in on this project at a later stage of the build to help with the finish work. A friend of mine had already handled the framing as well as installing the custom bar top, and reached out to me for my
assistance in creating & installing the curved walnut bar front, as well as the custom walnut display unit to hang behind the bar. Never having built a curved-front bar before, the entire process was a great learning experience. It involved the use of steamed walnut that had been bent to fit the curved profile of the bar, as well as cutting nearly 400 individual grooves across the back of the walnut veneer to allow for the bend needed to fit the curve. With all the final details of the installation complete, this stunning centerpiece of the theater lobby was ready for service.

Stone & Key Cellars Wine Bar
-Ambler, PA
For this project, I was hired to assist with the overall renovation of this space and tackle a myriad of projects. Once we reached the finish work phase, I was tasked with installing all of the trim, finish work on the sliding barn doors, and the installation of the bar structure & front finish. Made from wine barrel staves, it took nearly 1500 individual cuts to create the final product (but who's counting?!). Under-counter lighting was added to showcase the bar front's beauty.

French Bistro Brasserie
-Philadelphia, PA
When a lively neighborhood bistro in Center City Philadelphia reached out to me for some custom-made charcuterie boards, I jumped at the opportunity to show off this particular set of woodworking skills. These edge grain boards were made from strips of solid cherry and walnut
and coated with a high-quality food-grade sealant. They were delivered in 2021 and were put into service almost immediately. Due to the staff's diligence in properly caring for the boards, they are in still in use several times a night and look as beautiful as they did the first day they landed on the customers' tables.

Free Will Brewing Co. Taproom Bar
-Peddler's Village, Lahaska, PA
Located in a beautiful Bucks County destination for shopping, dining, and lodging, the decision to open a taproom in Peddler's Village seemed like a no-brainer to Free Will Brewing Co. I was hired to assist in many aspects of the renovation, including: installing the tin ceiling tiles, wainscot installation, antique glass tile install behind the

bar & in the bathroom, as well as some restoration and repurposing materials from the former barn-turned-taproom. I tackled the bar build as well; from the framing to the custom walnut bar front and solid walnut bar top. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend you stop in & check out my handywork in use (and treat yourself to a pint while you're at it).
